Far In The Distance...
Far in the distance where the vision pales a murmur begins as high wind rales Yet all around a stillness gnaws over clods and rills vast meads across And the tall pines softly sorely sigh to see the late day sadly die One faint exotic star alone peers through the woolly veil to tell me not all is lost, a bright spot could be found still if you could see, if you had the will But deep inside the marrow frail all I hear is a haunting wail that breaks forth every now and then like one driving in the coffin's nail And out in the distant edge a weary flight the swallow takes not one that chirps to please its soul but a mute farer on an empty road on that flossy cloudy canopy like one playing a measly role Soon an abject darkness pitches in turning the stricken heart icy cold Tell me, won't you feel bereft too when such dreary scenes unfold?

Evolve Ye Man...
Evolve ye man from your petty ways Mend the mind that forever slights Break free from thoughts, so mean and low Be like the sun of eternal heights
So oft you've crushed the man within A beast is all that is left of you Awaken before the moment is lost Little use if this life passes by you
In the inky darkness of your wintry days let none snigger away at this shadow and say:
"Here is the man sans heart and soul He shattered us once with his pride & ire But pity him now, for his mind is scarred and he lives on forever in Hell's Fire "

Come Hither....
Little by little they moved away Every single of them who were in the fray Some of them whizzed swiftly past A harried look I saw them cast Not so long ago they had sweetly ambled here With a smile at hand, without a fear Then came those nights of dizzying heights Where thoughts took one to fancy flights Did you reach the stars in your dreams so gay? I'd nod my head to say 'aye' Twinkling bright those gems gushed steadily on A crown like none the pate did don Laughter and joy held the sway Some teardrops too had their way All in all, a sweet sight to cheer Where one with ease folks could steer
And now an eerie silence wails A mile long loneliness like ne'er before prevails Sometimes I wonder if they'll ever come back And place those notes on my rack It surely seems like a distant dream Yet thoughts as these make my eyes gleam
But wait, do I see hope from afar shine? See me leap at this gift divine With a smile it hovers ready to ignite Like a thousand stars beckoning delight Come to me, don't you know for you I pine? Come hither, let me make you all mine

Words Again....
The words once so fondly your own let loose, remain no more yours alone out of the cozy shaft they tremble a moment aside, gather pace after aft' and travel far and wide Many a shore they seek to reach at the journey's end, loved by some far more minds they beseech Many a heart they merrily rip apart but with what innocence at the start Bereft of all the powers once borne you look on , so woebegone If only you could shackle them these wanton words, one and all never to lose sights again forever your own to rein and always at your beck and call

Mute Stones...
Mute Stones, What tales you hide in your chasm from days bygone?
Ever so calm Ever so grave Does it pain you to treasure thus the secrets untold?
In your deep marrow what intrigues grow?
The cracks that open your side What painful miseries do they hide?
Muffled though you sound yet I hear the distant heart pound
Those images you arouse, bedazzle my senses They tell the sagas of lost chances
Of the bloodbaths and the cries Of the triumphs and the joys
Of soft feet that tread to meet her love in yonder shed
The smiles and the aches all entrenched in your depths
Silent though you are my senses touch yours that's left ajar
Awed I look on reading thus your thoughts Mute , you smile on beguiling all and sundry in knots

Did I Hear You Whisper My Heart....
Did I hear you whisper, my heart or was it the boughs that spoke dancing beyond my window panes flushed as the rose after rains that the brazen breeze had woke
Soft is the tender night save the crickets that delight and ladybirds on velvety strands fresh from their jaunty rides tickled red as pretty new brides
Behind the fluffy cloudy veil the crescent maid mischief makes coupled with those distant chimes flashing a wink at times lest I shed a tear or two that the void this misty night did thrust, a sudden in view
So let me begin afresh Tell me, wasn't it you, after all that the soft soul laid bare ? Was it only those signs myriad that artful nature outside enforced upon me, most unfair ?
Even when dreams tear apart in the deep corners of my heart be that as it may I shall still solace find surely somehow, some way
Like supple tendrils unwind let my blithe fanciful mind in the sweet fragrance of this night generous notes alluring forever enduring most graciously and willfully ignite

A Letter, most humble...
Dear Publisher Sir, most kind May I entreat,if you don't mind to take a more kindly note on those lines that I last wrote and carried them to you with such care hoping that you'd make them your affair, fall in love with them a presto and print them all with much gusto
But I have a strange feeling which I can't stop concealing that my manuscripts, so very winsome has become to you, somewhat burdensome Why else would you, I can't help wonder bellow aloud like fiery thunder and throw them all in the dustbin as if I'd committed some dark sin by writing those rhymes so pristine almost touching heights alpine Oh those wonderfully worthy lines with what flair and wordy designs !
How Could You, Publisher Sir to trash my paeans transfer ? Have you no heart in place that you put me in such utter disgrace?
Well, I'd like to humbly tell you That I know a secret or two about that grisly act you did the other day Remember, your foray into that alley ? It's all prettily snapped up too and bounded for you to view Oh no, this isn't a blackmail bid like those ghastly stories sordid but merely a quid pro cos lesson learned in life,Dear Bro Didn't I tell you, I'm a cool Private Eye Hence those lines of mine don't you dare deny Publish them promptly all very soon Come now sir, don't act the goon Will take a peek at your office tomorrow with more such tales of your sorrow
With all my ample respects due Hopefully yours, Miz Ewu

What Shadows Are Those...
What shadows are those that tell murky tales each day as they pass me by Like a soul possessed I await them still while you fret and wonder why
A whole new world in a never never land one less traversed,'tis true Yet I can't resist like a shackled will as those unheard voices accrue
Delusion, did you say ? Maybe that and more it's not for me to unravel Such a life unfettered without a fuss or frill till the end let me tirelessly travel

Lend Me Some...
Give me a few words from the treasure that you own Let me make them all mine like pure love divine On the pages of my soul I'll have them fondly adorn
Those floodgates of thoughts see then gently flow Meandering as they chime Lofty notions in rhyme Hear your heartbeats race awashed in a pinky glow
Yes, lend me some words I'll not let them astray Such like they haunt, evermore does that want to merge with those pearls, come sauntering my way

Live And Let Live...
Masked in despond I watched hatred hoard Firings from hills beyond Deadly guns roared The red moon looked on Amid screams of pain Blood and gore had won 'Twas a moment insane
The gray sun awoke The next morn and how ! Deep in thoughts soak Its wrinkled brow Man will go to what lengths Relentless in their means How many more deaths Before the close of such scenes
Enough Ye Men, I said with a start Hatred can't always win There's beauty in each heart If only you care to look within
Waste not golden days in strife Why give in to unsound wrath Learn instead to love life Stop, I pray, this mindless bloodbath
Live and let live Your motto must be Learn to reprieve Spread gentle smiles for free Surely malice will cease If ill-will you curtly deny Aye, I am PEACE Hold on , give me a try !
